The Negative Impact of Misuse of The Drugs

As we know that Indonesia is a rich country. Not only the natural resources, but also from the culture. And each culture has a special characteristic and a uniqueness which is also different between the one and the other.
But nowadays our culture gradually less even lost. Why? Because we are colonized again by foreign country. And they don’t colonize us by the hard work or rodi. But they colonize our culture and our morality. And the biggest negative impact of this colonialism is based on the teenager morality.
Imagine guys, since 1969 our teenager has been pushed the drugs and the alcohol in by the foreigner. And since then, many cases happened about abusing the drugs and the alcohol. And until now, many reports from the mass media about thousand even million sacrifices because of the drugs. And how unlucky, many of them are our teenager who are about 16 – 25 years old. They are still in the productive age and they are our country asset in the future.
The foreigner has made our teenager addicted to the drugs. They lead our teenager to the black circle of the drugs and the alcohol. And they made our teenager forgetting their real job; it is for bringing our country to the better. They made our teenager forgetting that Allah said in Al Maida: 90

يأ يها الذين أمنوا أنما الخمر والميسير والأنصاب والأزلام رجس من عمل الشيطان فاجتنبواه لعلكم تفلخون

In this verse, Allah SWT explain us about how worse the effect of the drugs and the alcohol to our physic and physiology. For example it has been explained in Durratun Nashihin that there was a young man who was very obey to Allah. He never did anything that was forbidden by Allah. He never transgress Allah’s rule. And the devil couldn’t tempt his faith to do the big sin. But finally, he was loosed by the devil. He drank the alcohol, until he was drunk. And after he was drunk, he dishonored a woman, then he killed her, and he robbed her property. How come? It is because of the effect of the alcohol. The young man thought that it doesn’t have the negative impact and if he drinks it, he only does a little sin. He doesn’t know that

Much or a view of alcohol and the drugs is forbidden. And both are not rise the criminality case only, but also based on the examination of Prof. Dr. Dadang Hawari on 1990, 96% of misuse of the drugs and the alcohol cause the wane of academic, and 60% impacting the traffic accident. And the worse is it can make us forgetting to remember Allah.
Moreover if the drugs and the alcohol have entered to our body, it can make us addicted. And the case of being addicted, we can do everything although by the shameful to get it. The negative one is bigger to break our body and soul.

So, what must we do to save our teenager from the negative impact of the drugs and the alcohol?
Well, many efforts have been supported to make our teenager can be safe from the drugs.
Firstly, there is some filtration and saving from their parent.
Why must be their parents? It’s because their parents are the nearest ones beside them. And it’s like the Dutch said, “The apple doesn’t fall far away from the tree”. It has meaning the teenager morality is not far from the parent morality.
Secondly, we need the role of the school. Why must be the school? It is because about 8 hours of our teenager daily activity are spent in their school. So, whatever they get from their school take part to build our teenager morality.
Thirdly, we need the support from their environment and their society. It’s like our people said, “If we are near whit the perfume seller we will be perfume smelled. If we are near with the fish seller we will be fish smelled”. So, whoever we associate with, influent how we can be.
Fourthly, we need the role of our government. Why must be the government? It has a great role to take any campaign to fight against the drugs and the alcohol. The socialization is also about how big the negative impact of the drugs and the alcohol. It’s because we can not lie if our teenager is the handle of Indonesian future, the handle of Indonesia progress, and the handle of where this country will be brought to.

شبان اليوم رجال الغد

The government has to do more to filter whatever which can enter to our country. So that we can keep our teenager from the negative impact of the western culture for example drinking the alcohol and consume the drugs.
And the last, the role of our self to keep whatever which can enter to our body and whatever that we consume. We have to get to know that Imam Nawawi Al Bantani said in his Nashaihul ‘Ibad that if some one leaves the crime and keeps eating some agreed food, his heart and mind will be clean and soft. And also stick in your mind to always remember Allah SWT. And always remember that Allah always sees us everywhere and every time. So, do not consume both.

So, the conclusion is many efforts has been supported to make our teenager can be safe from misuse of the drugs and the alcohol. And the main supporter is our teenager self to always remember Allah SWT and their real job to pray to Allah SWT. And for all of you Guys, stick in your mind that

Our life is not only for happiness, having fun, with consuming the drugs and the alcohol that some people said that it can make us feel enjoy and feel fly on the sky. Not! But our real purpose to live in this world is only for our God Allah SWT. Not for drugs. Not for alcohol.
